WorldNetDaily & the ethics of poaching stories

They say imitation is a compliment, but when I saw Joe Farah's story posted last night (see below link) which gee, looks an awful lot like my story posted yesterday morning, I was anything but complimented.

Our CNS news story is getting a lot of play in Eastern Europe right now, according to Yossef Bodansky. Gregory R. Copley, who gave the report to me, and controls the database told me WorldNetDaily had never contacted them about the report or obtained it. Sounds odd that, eh?

Bible tip of day: Exodus 20:15 "Thou shalt not steal"

Note: The report does not mention WMD. The only reference to weapons is to rocket launchers, C-4 explosives and detonators.

Update: 7:18 pm

This paragraph in the WND story:

"The offensive, designed to overshadow the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks on New York and the Pentagon, was first referenced in a May 30 letter written by al-Qaida's Iraq commander Abu Musab Zarqawi to Osama bin Laden. It is the subject of a report written by terrorism expert Yossef Bodansky, the former director of the Congressional Task Force on Terrorism and Unconventional Warfare, to government officials. "

was changed earlier today to:

"The offensive, designed to overshadow the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks on New York and the Pentagon, was first referenced in a May 30 letter written by al-Qaida's Iraq commander Abu Musab Zarqawi to Osama bin Laden. It is the subject of a report written by terrorism expert Yossef Bodansky, the former director of the Congressional Task Force on Terrorism and Unconventional Warfare, to government officials. Bodansky's report was first exposed in a story by CNSNews.com reporter Sherrie Gossett. "

They also stuck in a link to my original story.

I see the story dropped from its former headline 'exclusive' positioning, down about 19 notches in their headline listing.
