Amsterdam journalist and blogger Arjan Dasselaar reports that a member of the terrorist-spawning Hofstadgroep, (Mohammed Bouyeri, who murdered Theo van Gogh, was a member of the group) delivered flowers to Dutch public television broadcaster VARA. Dasselaar says that the flowers were a gesture to thank the broadcaster for an "episode of news show Zembla in which Ayaan Hirsi Ali was smeared."
