TNI a finalist for Folio award

I just received notification on the 11th that The New Individualist is a finalist for the prestigious Folio "Eddie" awards for excellence in editorial content, for the March '07 story Up from Conservatism, by editor-in-chief Robert Bidinotto. A hearty congratulations to Robert for a well-deserved honor!

We'll be going to NYC on September 23rd for the awards dinner. It's not until then that we'll know whether the story wins the bronze, silver or gold award.

Here's the announcement from Folio:
Last week, FOLIO announced the prestigious list of finalists. This year’s competition drew roughly 3,000 entries, making the Eddies and Ozzies the largest and most inclusive competition in the industry. From across the country and around the world, the best magazines submitted their work for consideration of the industry’s highest honor. You were selected as the best of the best. All finalists are invited to attend the 2007 Eddie and Ozzie Awards Gala on September 23, 2007 at the Marriott Marquis in New York City. A Gold, Silver and Bronze Winner in each category will be named live at the Gala, and Gold Winners are invited to accept their award on stage.
