Atlas Shrugged movie producers coming

We just got confirmation yesterday that the producers of the upcoming film version of Atlas Shrugged (starring Angelina Jolie), will be attending our Atlas Society event Oct. 6 celebrating the 50th anniversary of Ayn Rand's epochal novel.

Those attending who are involved with the movie include:

• Michael Burns, vice chairman of Lionsgate studio, which is producing the film
• Producers Howard and Karen Baldwin, who produced the Oscar-winning film Ray
• Director Vadim Perelman (House of Sand and Fog). Perelman will be directing Jolie in the film.

Already attending were:

• John Aglialaro, an executive producer for the film
• David Kelley, a consulting producer who is an editor of our magazine, The New Individualist, and who just happens to be the founder of The Atlas Society.
